Again

Tonight I went back to my basketball team Sanzektu to play again. I haven't played there since 2 months ago when I hurt my finger.
It was really nice to play again in an environment where I can get better and better.
But the downside was: my stamina was wáááy off. Guess it's time to pick it up again and raise it to the next level.

New weapons: Nike Zoom Kobe IV

Last I bought myself new basketball shoes: the Zoom IV. These low tops are very light weighted and comfortable enough to use it like the Black Mamba himself does.



The shoes are low fitted just like me last pair of Jordans. So everyone was like: 'do you want yo ankles broken or something'..
But I was like: 'neh, I've got myself ankle insurance.' ;)

What does it mean.. to be a warrior..
To be constantly fighting.. physically and spiritually..

I don't even know whether I'm fighting for You.. or against You..
If it is for You, give me orders.. I'm waiting for the moment to strike!
But if the fight is against You, please defeat me already..

How can I battle His own creations in this society and world.. why can't I claim small victories.. why are there rules and boundaries during the fight.. and why are there so many unanswered questions..

Maybe.. maybe I should fight myself to begin with.. maybe I have to put myself on the research desk and examine myself.. Am I worthy to fight.. and who do I fight for..

I know I was chosen to fight because He threw an arrow and a shield to me.. a message and His Word.. enough reason to start the battle..

But before I can win.. I must sharpen my skills, build up my strength and stand up..
Only then I can move on each time.

Then finally.. let me fight under Your command and lead me to victory..

Jeeeeejj!!

Yesterday I tried to connect my 'frozen' PS3-joypad and it worked!!
Yoshh, but now the only problem is that Sony is having a kind of troubleshooting with the PSN or something like that going on. Still can't log in..

Ohh well..

Wondering why that joypad got frozen?

It was a while ago,

Somebody borrowed my joypad, but when he returned it, I was at my grandma's place.
My dad came by so I asked him to drob off my bag with clothes AND joypad and another bag with fish en vegatables at home. But he asked me why I didn't put it all in the same bag.
Simple: because you can not put clothes and food in the same bag!!
A whole discussion was going on and guess what he did when he left: Yeah, he did all the stuff in ONE bag.
He dropped it off at home and my mother only saw the clothing and food. She did my clothes in the washing machine and the food (along with my joypad) in the freezer.
There you go: one frozen controller, voilà.
The next day I tried to warm it up using my blanket. But the light did not turn on.
Till yesterday, months later I connected it with the PS3. It worked. Maybe it was out of batteries.

I'm just glad that it is still working after being frozen solid. (yeah, Pokemon language)

Or maybe I'm just more glad that my mother put it in the freezer with the food instead of in the washing machine together with my clothes.

Faith.. is like the NBA, the National Basketball Association.
The Bible is the players guide, the Lord is our coach and we are the players.
Everything the coach wants to explain to us is written in the guide. The intention of that guide is that the players go into the rules of the game. So that they don't accidentally come up with a hockey stick instead of a basketball.

If the common target is not known by the players then they will never score. So pay attention when they are on practice and explain the differences between a personal foul and a flagrant foul.
When we are playing the game, we can't talk to the coach. We are on our own. But when a time-out is called, that is the time we can talk to him. In this case it is prayer.

Like a coach says: 'we are going to watch a dangerous-situation in the game.' It's preventive. It is to prepare for the coming games, to evaluate the games and to learn from mistakes that are made. And the most important: to enjoy the wonderful scores!

Basketball is a team sport. Faith is too: 'Together you are going for the championship.' In this case, the aureole.
It's not only about the awards and the honoring.
It is also about the game itself, which means living your life.

'Fair-play' is the motto of the Christian coach Jesus Christ.
